Lassiter Ladies Lacrosse Welcomes New Coach

Lassiter Ladies Lacrosse is excited to announce their new head coach, Angela Brunner. 

Coach Brunner has been coaching youth & high school lacrosse in the Atlanta area since 2007. Previously she coached for Centennial high school where she took the team from 6-10 in 2010 to 17-1-1 in 2013. She has  also coached for local club teams, including XTEAM and ATL.  She is a two time US Lacrosse National Southeast Region Team coach. 

Coach Brunner grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and began playing lacrosse in 5th grade.  She played lacrosse at South River High School in Edgewater, Maryland.  Coach Brunner was a member of two state championship teams her senior year in both Lacrosse and Field Hockey.

After High School, she played two years of Lacrosse at Limestone College.  She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2005 where she played club lacrosse. 

Currently Coach Brunner teaches Personal Fitness at Lassiter High School.  She earned her Master’s degree from Valdosta State University in 2010. Coach Brunner is married to Daniel Brunner, who also teaches in Cobb County and coaches varsity football.  They have two beautiful children, Daniel Jr. and Charlie Grace and two playful Boxer's named Otis and Bella.
